Salesforce has announced it is retiring Social Studio, its social media management software, on November 18, 2024. Past that date, you will no longer be able to access the platform, and your customer data will be erased.

What is happening to Salesforce Social Studio?

Social Studio, the widely used social media publishing, engagement, and analytics tool has had a strong run of nearly 10 years serving enterprise marketing teams.

It has been especially popular with brands leveraging Salesforce for their CRM, and had convenient integrations to the vendor’s Marketing and Service Clouds.

Salesforce announced that it would stop renewing Social Studio contracts in 2022, and is now nearing their official stated shutoff date of November 18, 2024.

Customers will lose access to the platform, and all their customer data after that date or at the end of their contract, whichever comes first.

Other Salesforce applications are not impacted.
