Registration Fee
Once your purchase has been processed it is final. Khoros may offer a promotional, coupon, discount, or similar code tied to a specific pass or to a group of passes and that value cannot be applied towards another pass or group of passes, including if upgraded to a different pass later. Promotional codes cannot be applied retroactively to a previously completed purchase.
Cancelation of Registration
To cancel a registration notify us (events@khoros.com) or contact a Khoros sales/customer contact in writing.
Transferring Registration
Transfer of passes to another person may occur until passes are picked up onsite. Once a badge is printed it can only be used by the person whose name is on it.
To transfer a pass from you to another person follow these steps:
1. At khoros.com/engage click the Already Registered? link in the upper right corner.
2. Enter your email and confirmation number, then click Modify Registration on the Confirmation page.
3. Click Next to advance through registration, making any necessary modifications. If any of their changes affect the amount due, you will settle the balance on the Submit Payment page, then click Finish.
4. A confirmation on modification will be sent to the new attendee + yourself.
Photo Release
I hereby irrevocably consent to the use by Khoros and its affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, licensees and assigns (“Khoros”) of any video, photographs, portraits, images, likenesses, or pictures that Khoros uses, makes and/or has of myself (collectively, the “Images”), as well as my name, statements and signature and any rights therein, for all purposes in any format or media now or hereafter devised, including advertising and trade uses, as well as for promotion of Khoros or any of its businesses, throughout the world. I acknowledge that I shall not be entitled to monetary, injunctive or other equitable relief in connection with use of the Images by Khoros.
I, ON BEHALF OF MYSELF, MY HEIRS, EXECUTORS AND ADMINISTRATORS, HEREBY RELEASE, FOREVER DISCHARGE AND AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS KHOROS AND ALL OF THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENT COMPANIES, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES AND EACH OF THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SHAREHOLDERS, AND ADVISORS (COLLECTIVELY, RELEASED PARTIES), FROM AND AGAINST ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, AND LIABILITIES WHETHER CAUSED BY, CONTRIBUTED TO, ARISING OUT OF, OR OTHERWISE RELATED TO THE IMAGES OR ANY OTHER CONTENT, WHICH I PROVIDE TO KHOROS.
This Release contains the entire understanding of the parties relating to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes any prior agreements between the parties. The laws of the State of Texas shall govern this Release and I irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas for any suit or action arising from or related to this Agreement, and waive any right I may have to object to the venue of such courts.
Privacy
Read our full privacy policy here, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. We may share registration data with our vendors and sales teams in order to help improve the experience at Khoros events. By providing registration data to us, you grant us permission to do these things. We do not sell, rent, or give your registration information to speakers, other attendees or sponsors without your permission.
Code of Conduct
By registering, you have a responsibility to Khoros and to your fellow event attendees to adhere to certain rules of behavior and conduct. Generally speaking, we expect each attendee, speaker, and vendor to act in a mature, responsible and ethical way. Khoros will not tolerate an attendee, speaker or vendors’ inappropriate behavior, rudeness or disorderly conduct while at this Khoros event. Communication and actions constituting unlawful harassment or bullying will not be tolerated.
Khoros staff have the sole discretion to address violations of these terms as we determine appropriate.
The views or opinions expressed by any event attendee, speaker, vendor or sponsor are not necessarily the views or opinions of Khoros. All event attendees, speakers, and sponsors are responsible for their own content. Use of any content that infringes another party’s intellectual property rights, is harassing, misleading, or unlawful is not permitted.
Badges
Attendees are required to wear the official event badge at all times when attending Khoros events and all affiliated events (including, but not limited to Off-Site Parties and Industry Networking Events). Badges may only be used by the person whose name appears on the badge. It may not be sold or transferred once printed. Khoros staff reserve the right to deny entrance to activities if a badge is not displayed and to revoke any badge that we determine is being used by someone other than the registrant whose name appears on it. If a badge is revoked for any reason, the purchaser is not entitled to any form of refund or compensation.
In some instances, badges may be scanned in order to enter certain sessions or to access other areas and amenities. Badge holders have the right to deny scanning. Data is used to improve future events, inform future content, and shared with Khoros sales teams.
Security & Safety
All security concerns should be reported to event staff immediately. Our security team may take whatever measures they deem appropriate without prior notice in order to ensure the safety of attendees. Attendees must comply with the direction of our security team, as well as all applicable rules and regulations of the venues where the event is held.
Schedule & Liability
The published schedule is subject to change without advance notice. Registrations will not be refunded based on changes to the schedule. Admission to sessions is not guaranteed due to capacity limits and availability.
Khoros events are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. If we are determined to have any liability to you, you agree our aggregate liability will be limited in all cases to one hundred dollars (US$100.)
