Real-life impact vs. recognition: Khoros Kudos Award winners choose to give back

The Khoros Kudos Awards are one of the many ways we proudly celebrate and highlight our customers’ impressive achievements. And while recognition and publicity are certainly worthwhile goals for hard work and tireless efforts, we have found that brands seek and sometimes prefer something even more meaningful and impactful.
That’s why we decided to do things a little differently this year. In addition to prominent placement on website, social media, and press promotions, we offered 2024 Khoros Kudos Award winners an added prize: a sizable donation to a charitable organization of their choosing. Customers provided nothing but positive feedback, and winners were elated to be able to support causes that they had special connections with. The selected organizations span broad focus areas from eradicating childhood cancer and ridding the world's oceans of plastic to providing e-mental health services to youth, protecting and improving cats’ lives, and more.

We also wanted to acknowledge the time and effort it takes to prepare and submit a story to the Khoros Kudos Awards. That’s why all those who submitted their stories (whether they won or not) were offered to select an item of their choosing from our catalog of gifts in partnership with Gifts for Good, a mission-driven business whose work supports the efforts of 80 nonprofits and social enterprises in 50 states in 72 countries. Each gift selected helps give back to these organizations and their missions to support charitable causes, whether providing meals for children in need, planting trees, caring for rescue animals, and much more.
