AUSTIN, Texas (October 5, 2022) — Khoros, an award-winning leader in digital-first customer engagement software and services, today announced it won a 2022 Tech Cares Award from TrustRadius, the most trusted research and review platform. The annual award recognizes B2B technology companies that have demonstrated impactful corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in volunteerism; diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) programs; charitable donations and fundraising; employee support; or environmental sustainability programs.

One of Khoros’s most notable accomplishments includes the establishment of a formal environmental, social, and governance (ESG) structure that provides ongoing strategic direction for how the company invests in its employees, supports external communities, and protects the planet. Khoros’s ESG program is detailed in its inaugural Annual Impact Report, which was released in March 2022. Highlights from the report that contributed to Khoros’s 2022 Tech Cares Award win include:
Managing GHG & reducing carbon footprint: Khoros partnered with an external vendor to measure its baseline greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and joined Vista Equity Partners’ Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative, which aims to cut GHG emissions in half by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
Expanding its DE&I team: Khoros hired a DE&I Partner to oversee and grow Khoros’s diversity and social impact initiatives, including expanding its DE&I training offerings and adding a fifth employee resource group (ERG) in support of Khoros’s Veteran community and allies.
Adding three nonprofits to its Khoros Social Responsibility (KSR) Program: akt, Love146, and Safe in Harm’s Way joined the KSR Program, which provides Khoros’s software and services for free or at a discount to qualified nonprofits, with a focus on those that are either owned by or in direct service to underrepresented groups who wouldn’t otherwise have the capacity to invest in its technology.
In addition to the above, Khoros continued its ongoing investment in fostering an inclusive, collaborative, flexible, remote-first work environment for its global employee base (e.g. initiatives to protect mental health, professional learning and development opportunities, and more). Khoros also made monthly corporate donations to nonprofits that align with its company values, including George Washington Carver Museum, Eden Reforestation Projects, Imagine Water Works, Equality Texas, Paws with a Cause, among others.
